Used plastic appears fragility, but handling with care I had no problems.
The mechanism that rotates to release the food is in silicone or some similar material, it also seemed to me fragile, only time will tell whether it is resistant or not.
I did not find citation in the manual if the batteries can be rechargeable and if the device would charge them when connected to the network.

The bowl is not very big.
Camera is very low quality and you cannot move it so if your pet is small you will barely see them. I have the one with two bowls and it clearly dispenses more to one of them bowls rather than the other
